Thegongshop.com has a 15-day return policy from the date the item is received/delivered. If 15 days have passed since the purchase, a refund or exchange cannot be offered. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs for returning an item. Gongs that have been played with super rub, flumies, or friction mallets are not eligible for a return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, including products purchased with a Free Shipping promotion. If a refund is received, the cost of the original shipping & handling will be deducted from the refund. A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete the return.
For showroom returns, all sales are final for any gongs or accessories purchased in person from the showrooms in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Gift cards and downloadable software products are non-returnable items.
Refunds are processed once the return is received and inspected. A credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment within a certain amount of days.
For the shipping policy, orders usually ship the same day when ordered before 1pm PST. However, shipping time can range between 24-48 hours of purchase, depending on the size of the order and stock quantity. UPS Ground is used for orders in the US 48 contiguous states and they ship Monday to Friday. For international orders, Fedex, DHL, and UPS are used, depending on which carrier has the most economical rates. The customer is 100% responsible for all additional duty or customs/brokerage fees for international orders.
